I like the idea as you’ve discussed it. A question it raises is, what response(s) would it trigger once announced. “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
A good idea, but is it practical? How would the judciary be involved? Can the Constitution stand up to this intense (and necessary) recrimination? As I see it, our only precedents are dealing with loyalists (to the Crown) after the Revolution, and the debacle of Reconstruction under Johnson/Grant. Neither one a positive result. Now we need a more thorough and far more swift resolution. Where does it end? Re-imprison the January 6th thugs? My fantasy, because I won't live to see whatever the outcome is: exile the perpetrators to Mars: DJT, Vance, the entire cabinet, Mike Johnson, and anyone else who agrees to a free ride to another planet, a red MAGA one. Survival not guaranteed.
This is the correct response. Nuremberg Caucus; abolish ICE; tax the rich; no more endless, unnecessary wars; do not fund or participate in genocide; and register AIPAC and similar groups as foreign agents. Restore accountability and justice and focus on Americans’ wellbeing. High level tenets that any Democrat looking to run for President should get behind! The only one who I could currently see getting behind this is Congressman Ro Khanna. He’s impressing me!
Too many of the Democrats are complicit, and have committed the crimes of the Trump Administration, but didn't do it blatantly. Relying on a two-party system just keeps the "game" going. "Exposing" the Republicans leaves the Democrats open to the same kind of "exposure." Our nation's problems didn't begin with Trump -- Neo-liberalism opened the door to Neo-fascism.
We have to make people aware of the oligarchy that is the United States. I think more young people see the truth of the situation. It's important to educate our students about the many different forms of socialism, about what has worked in the past (all around the world), and what has not worked.
Excellent article. Unfortunately, the Trump administration along with their ICE goons think that they are above the law and will never pay for their crimes. Let's hope that after this administration is over that the ones who committed crimes and/or cruelty toward humanity will face a court of law.

I’m growing more optimistic (cautiously) that everyday Americans are seeing through the facade of corporate Democrats.
